Yeah, thats true! (look at the pics...) 100 dolyars lang ang laptop na yan. OR 5000 Philippine pesos. Believe it or not, its for real.Ang laptop kasi na iyan eh gawa nang isang, lets say, foundation with a goal of bringing to less improverished children of third world countries ang makabagong buhay gamit ang computers.
Its cheap because it will be produced by bulk, meaning 100 million units they plan to make.
Pero take note, di yan parang computer na nakikita nyo sa Toy Kingdom na pambata. It has Linux Operating System, powered by a 500mhz processor, and have a colored lcd screen and 4 usb ports. Fully functional ang laptop na yan except sa kanyang memory na paltry 500 mb lamang na non-volative flash memory (the same as the memory cards available...). Meron din yang wireless connection para maka-connect ang bawat computer...Super energy efficient din nyan. (tingin ko yung designer inisip nila na ang gagamit nito eh walang access sa electricity.) Nakikita nyo yung hand crank sa tabi? iniikot lang yan para magkapower ang buong unit! galing!!!
Syempre, magiging available din yan sa Philippines... just go to this site for more details... Available na yan next year... Nasa 7800 Pesos "daw".Laptop, come to me!!!

oi dos, kahit di kita kilala alam kong di ka cheap and dont buythat kasi cheapo.
Sa mga tumingin sa post na ito, update lang po. yang laptop po ay available pero hindi $100 or Php5000. Ang cost po ay 20T, pero B1G1 promo - buy 1 give 1. Pag bumili ka, may isang unit na donated sa selected regions na 3rd world. Cheapo, pero mas durable compared sa mga laptop worth 40 or 50t.
Foundation po talaga gumawa at nagmamarket. One Laptop Per Child foundation.
